About Us

Baghwar Academy for Children is one of the renowned schools at Chanho, Ranchi. The school was founded in 2006 by Mr. Ashok Baghwar (Director of the school) and Mr. Arun Baghwar (Principal of the school) in a small rented building, with minimum resources and with a handful of students. As the number of students and classes increased, the school shifted to a new premise. Even back then the school was synonymous with quality education.

The school is run and managed by Baghwar Welfare Trust. Mr. Ashok Baghwar is the chairman and Mr. Arun Baghwar is the secretary of the trust. Slowly and gradually school’s size started increasing and it needed a larger space. Subsequently, the present campus was constructed over a large area of land with spacious rooms. Baghwar Academy, with its commitment to academics continued to excel and soon we were considered among the top private school of Chanho.

School follows the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum and the medium of instruction is English. Academics are our main core and adequate weightage is given to co-curricular activities and sports as well. We have won laurels in all fields.
